The oxygen flow is steplessly adjustable and regarding the maximum flow automatically limited between 0 and 5 litres per minute.

The oxygen concentrator OXICUR 5000 achieves a flow-dependent oxygen-concentration to 95%.

The OXICUR 5000 is a medicine product of the class IIa in accordance with medicine product law (MPG).

Operational principle


The OXICUR oxygen concentrator 5000 ION enriches the molecular oxygen (CO2), existing in the ambient air to 21%, on a higher concentration. Molecular sieves (so-called zeolites) are precision filters, which let oxygen-molecules happen, but other air components hold back (adsorb). In this way develops constantly fresh, highly concentrated oxygen, which can be supplied to the breath ways by way of inhalation eyeglasses and/or by way of an inhalation mask. The purity of the oxygen becomes additionally secured by different filter systems including bacteria filters.

The OXICUR 5000 ION achieves a flow-dependent oxygen-concentration to 95%.

Ionization module

The ionization module uses the principle of the corona (sharpening) unloading, with which electrons are set free, which form negative CO2 ions with CO2 molecules.
